Valentine’s day Nail art – Part 4

cute love nail art

Hi

I’m really high on Valentine’s nail art this time. This is the 4th part of the series. You can check others here

Valentine’s nail art Part 3

Since Valentine’s is all about love and hearts and pinks, I incorporated all of this into one nail art. I always say that white is a great base color for nail art, but I wanted to use some other color this time. So I settled on this pink and white combination.

I wanted to make it a couple’s nail art but I had already done one before (Part-1 of series above *if you still haven’t checked it, go check it fast fast*). So being a student of biology, I drew the symbols of male and female as an alternative 😀

If you don’t know about it, male is represented by this symbol of Mars –  ♂ : a circle with an arrow pointing north-east. Female is represented by the symbol of Venus – ♀ : a circle with a small cross underneath.

I took the liberty of drawing a pink bow on the female symbol ^_^ (Okay, also to make it look like a female. Otherwise these are just weird shapes for a layman).

The black nail art pen I used went gloopy, that is why I couldn’t draw perfect circle and that is why they look alien-ish

Anyhoo, they still look pretty to me 🙂

I always always always do nail art on both my hands, no matter how shaky my left hand is. This is how my right hand mani looked. Not bad, haan.

I drew the hearts using the tips mentioned HERE. Super easy!

And finally I finished it with a glittery top coat on pink nails and some polka dot on my thumb.

Valentine’s day Nail art – Part 2

valentine nail art

Hi

I have done the first part of this Valentine’s series HERE. Check it out.

This time I made it rather colorful nail art. And as always, white is a great color as base for nail arts. It makes other colors really pop.

I wanted to make a polka dot kinda nail art and I thought how about tweaking it with little hearts instead.

I have made the hearts using a dotting tool. I have done a tutorial on super easy way to draw hearts. Check it HERE. I have drawn the hearts here using the ‘v’ technique.

I wanted to keep this nail art soft and pastely, that is why I have used light colors. You can use any color of your choice.

The white nail polish I have used for base is NYC In a minute quick dry nail polish – Blanco 032

Hope you like it

XOXO

Tutorial: Easy peasy way to draw hearts

Beauty Scribblings

Hello girlies,

Drawing hearts on nails gives a very feminine touch to your hand, I feel.  This is a tutorial on how to draw hearts on your nails in a super easy way.

Things you need:

You can also use a toothpick, a dotting tool, or anything ‘pointy’ you can grab in your house =D

Step 1:

Step 2:

Step 3:

Step 4:

*tadaaaa*   You now have a beautiful heart sitting on your nail 🙂

Another method:

This method should be used only if you have a steady hand and the size of hearts you want to make is small.

You can see there are imperfections in the heart but don’t you worry, it won’t be visible when the size of heart drawn is small. Advantage of this method you ask? Well this one comes very handy when you are in a hurry to finish your nail…
