Polka dots nail art

POLKAAAAAA DOOOOOOOOTS……make me so happy. I like polka dots everywhere- be it polka dots dress, polka dot accessories, polka dot home decor…I would sooo love to have a polka dot wall in my home. Now Polka dots is my favorite nail art for 3 reasons.

1. It doesnot take long to do. Keep your polishes ready and it wont take more than 5 mins.

2. Doesn’t require precision. Just dot randomly and you are done

3. It prettify your nails so much 🙂

I did this nail art a while ago. White is such a versatile color. You can paint just anything on it, like an empty canvas. Plus white makes other colors pop.

Like I said, this nail art doesnt require much precision. I have made the dots directly from the nail polish brush. No special tools used. That is why my dots are not perfect round.

 Grab as many colors as you want and start dotting. No need to make it uniform.

Rose Gold nail art: Dots & Bows

So the winters in Delhi aren’t a bad deal this year. A warm sunny day is just the thing one can wish for in this frigid weather. Give me a mug of coffee (chocolate milk will do too :P) and a good novel, and I can laze about the whole day. The radiant sun in winters is enough to light up one’s mood. And so is the color Rose gold. This color is very feminine. Very pretty. And so IN these days =D

I didn’t want to do a full fledged nail art (on full 5 fingers) as it would have masked the prettiness of this color. So I decided to accent my ring finger with teeny tiny harmless dots.

What else to compliment with Rose gold other than Bows!

Ooh and the mark you see on my index finger is the voting ink.

This nail art reminds me of a vintage-y dress. Don’t know if it is Rose gold or bows and polka dots, but it sure does ring a bell.

Polka dot nails

Hello lovelies

Today I bring to you a very simple and classic nail art- ze Polka Dots…

 

How to do it– Its super simple. Paint your nails with color of your choice and dot with a contrasting color using a dotting tool or the back of a toothpick. 😀

I used neither and dotted free hand using the nail polish brush itself.

 

 

This color combination gives it a retro look..don’t you think?

 

You can paint all nails with one color or alternate with two like I have done.

Polka dots look good on both long as well as short nails, but I think it looks cuter on short nails.. don’t you think so? 😀
